Operation Clean Sweep®
Keeping plastic pellets, flakes and powder out of Malaysia’s rivers and seas.
An industry programme to stop pellet loss
Operation Clean Sweep® is an international programme from the plastics industry to reduce the loss of plastic pellets, flakes and powder into the environment. It was started by the American Chemistry Council (ACC) and the Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS).
The objective is simple: resin that passes through manufacturing facilities in Malaysia is handled with the care it deserves, and never ends up in our rivers or seas.
A commitment to best practice, and it costs nothing
Your company commits to put systems in place to prevent pellet loss, and plays its part in protecting the aquatic environment.
- Forms part of your sustainability and environmental initiatives
