Sustainability
How Malaysia’s plastics industry keeps materials in use and out of nature.
Three decades of plastics sustainability
MPMA’s sustainability work began in 1992 with the Plastics Waste Management Task Force. Since then MPMA has run programmes and activities every year, from national anti-littering campaigns to pellet loss prevention and design challenges for the next generation.
- Address the misconceptions about plastics, and the safety and health of plastics
- Promote the 3Rs, and that plastics are recyclable
- Create awareness of good waste management
